Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the self-attitude of female adolescents from families with different compositions. The novelty of the study lies in the lack of studies that would consider this topic concerning such an object.
The Introduction substantiates the relevance of the research problem. The characteristics of the personal and semantic sphere of children from single-parent families are determined, and the family is characterized as a small group. Approaches to the study of adolescents' self-attitude are considered. This section also outlines the goals and objectives of the study, provides formulations of hypotheses, and formulates the subject and object of the study.
The «Methods» section provides detailed characteristics of the sample and describes the methods and techniques of the study. Detailed descriptions of the methods used are also given: The Self-attitude Questionnaire (V. V. Stolin and S. R. Pantileev); the Kuhn-McPartland test "Who Am I" (Modified by T. V. Rumyantseva); The Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale; The questionnaire "What Am I" (created be the author).
The «Results» section details the results of measuring self-attitude in adolescent girls using the selected techniques. The results of the statistical analysis of the obtained data and their interpretation are also described. It was found that teenage girls from couple families have more correlations between indicators of self-attitude and self-esteem compared with teenage girls from single-parent families. It may indicate that teenage girls from couple families have a more balanced picture of self-attitude.
In the «Discussion» section, the positions of Russian and foreign researchers on the topic of the peculiarities of self-attitude in adolescents from couple and incomplete families are considered. The factors of teenagers' self-attitude related to the family are considered.
