Abstract

In the Introduction, the author reveals the relevance of studying the formation of prosocial values among students with different cognitive styles. It makes it necessary to address this relevant issue and explore its impact on various aspects of life, including social behaviour. The study is novel in the systematization and characterization of the current state of the features of prosocial values in connection with various cognitive styles.

The Methods section describes the research tools: the Differential Test of Reflection (DTR) by D. A. Leont’ev, the Analyticity-Holism Scale (AHS) by V. V. The Discussion indicates the presence of differences in the prosocial behavior of students depending on their cognitive style, as noted by the authors. The data obtained can also be used in the course of organizing work with students on the development of prosocial values. Based on the study results, a set of methods has been developed to study the level of formation and characteristics of prosocial values among students with different cognitive styles.
